Ce La Vi Bangkok Club Lounge (Formerly Ku De Ta) is a sophisticated nightclub and lounge where the glamourous come to play. Despite the name change from Ku De Ta Bangkok to Ce La Vi Bangkok, the concept is largely the same: you should dress to impress here, whether you intend to shake it on the dance floor or chill in some of the central booths with a few friends and a top-shelf bottle. If it all gets too much, take a breather on the open air terrace with views of central Bangkok. Located in the Sathorn Square Building, Ce La Vi Bangkok Club Lounge is easy to find, just a few steps from Chong Nonsi BTS Station on the Silom Line.
Like everything else associated with the Ce La Vi Bangkok brand, the entrance is seriously impressive. A candle lit corridor leads through heavy drapes with a multi-tiered dance podium greeting guests. Professional dancers are twisting and twirling and makes everyone stop and stare. The layout is a mix of a lounge and a club, with contained seating areas for large groups, standing tables, and a large dance floor surrounding the DJ booth. The lighting and sound system is awesome at Ce La Vi although the music changes radically depending on the night.
Wednesdays is ladies night with hip hop classics coutesy of The Bangkok Invaders, Thursdays is house night for some more intense beats and weekends spans the genres, typically playing party pop and R’n’B to get the crowd dancing. Ku De Ta Bangkok does probably the best ladies night in the whole city. Free sparkling wine all night for ladies and free entry! Last time we visited they were giving away a Gucci clutch bag to one lucky lady.
To enter Ce La Vi Bangkok there is no disguising the fact that you are walking through an office tower, but everything is done to provide guests with a level of comfort and sophistication fitting of the Ce La Vi/Ku De Ta brand. For example, each group of guests is given a private elevator up to the top floors, and when you arrive you have a personal escort to your desired establishment. In fact, the service throughout the whole complex is truly excellent.
Life looks better from a high vantage point, and there’s no cooler Bangkok nightclub vista than this. With an eclectic music policy, excellent cocktails, and an elaborate design scheme, Ce La Vi Club Bangkok is the true party environment for Bangkok’s international crowd.
